Anonimo was founded in Florence, Italy in 1997 by respected designer and entrepreneur Federico Massacesi. His vision was to create an enterprise specializing in the production of unique and limited Italian timepieces focused on staying true to Florentine watchmaking tradition.

With its numerous fine details, the Anonimo watch collection represents the proud tradition of Florentine craftsmanship and upholds the individualism that Anonimo brings to the world of luxury timepieces. According to the founder and designer, Massacesi believes that Anonimo timepieces are an extension of the wearer and their individuality and not the primary focus itself. Fittingly, the word anonimo means 'anonimous' in Italian.
